I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, and graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a B.S. in Mathematics with a concentration in Applied Statistics. I joined Venture Prep in 2009 as a Math Intervention Specialist. This school year I perform dual roles as Intervention Specialist for Middle School math students and High School Math Teacher.

I feel challenged and motivated in my position and especially love seeing students feel and experience success in education. I am extremely passionate about supporting urban youth in their growth and development academically and beyond. I am excited for what this year will bring as we continue to improve relationships and academic outcomes with our students. Besides my professional work, my passions include my faith, friends/family, sports, working out, music, and much more.
