Comparable District Middle School Results in SY11
The following chart provides information on district middle schools with >70% FRL student
demographics. This chart shows that Venture Prep generated the highest positive variance
between its 6th and 7th grade scores.
Median Growth Percentile compared to State and District
For grades 7th, 9th, and 10th, all are equal or better than the State
median in eight of nine subject scores (89%), and are equal of better than the DPS
average in six of nine subject scores (67%).
The average of all three subjects by grade has Venture Prep equal or better than
both the State and DPS in all three grades.
11th Grade Post-Secondary Readiness Scores
Additionally, Venture Prep was rated distinguished ("blue") in three of four
categories and meets expectations ("green") in the fourth category (math) based on
its 11th-grade ACT scores. The following graphic depicts these results.
